Fungiß-D-Glucano

Beta-D-glucan (BDG) analysis is a diagnostic test used primarily to detect the presence of invasive fungal infections in the body. BDG is a structural component of the cell walls of many fungi, and is released into the bloodstream during systemic fungal infections. Fungitell STAT® is the first and only in vitro rapid diagnostic screening test for invasive fungal infections (including Candida, Aspergillus, and Pneumocystis) in a single-sample, FDA-approved, CE-marked format that detects (1→3)-β-D-Glucan in serum.
